From Chicago

Hi Everyone,

I havie few minutes to write a quick email. I am sitting in a Panara Bread on State St.in downtown Chicago. Kristen and drove the 3 hours from Indy this morning so Kristen could get to her interview with Lyric Opera of Chicago. For her program Kristen has to do two 10 week summer internships. She also has interviews with Cleveland Opera and probably Indy Opera as a back back up.

Some of you AZ folks may not be familiar with Chicago. It is a thriving city, at least in the down town, and I wish I had Longer to explore this afternoon. Kristen's interview was supposed to take about an hour and a 1/2 so I walked for quite a while then decided to use the computer I have been carrying around all day. I really wish that I were in New York right now, but this will do I guess. I made sure to look around before typing that last sentence as those are fighting words around here.

Tuesday Pictures

Tuesday Afternoon

I am at the Greene Memorial Hospital, which is my current practicum site, and I have a few minutes to make a post and maybe share a few more pictures. Today is my first full day back to work after going to Louisville to see Kristen's parents on a long weekend. We had a great time and got a few things done for the wedding.

I also picked up a nice washer and dryer that I bought off of craigslist.com from a guy in Louisville. Thank goodness Dad owns a truck!

Ok here are a few more pictures of the inside . The first one is of the bathroom and the second is off the blue bedroom we just finished painting. The last one is of the upstairs bedroom.

First Post

This is my first post on this new blog. I have created this blog to keep my friends and family uptodate with all the goings-on in my life.

To that end I would like to post a picture of Kristen's and my new house. We are looking forward to finishing a few projects around the house and then throwing a house warming party in September after the wedding.
